Welcome Wellness Grade 6 students and parents
Sixth grade Wellness classes started on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. All grade 6 students will have two Wellness classes each week. Welcome and I am looking forward to a wonderful semester of Wellness!!!
Course outlines were distributed during class this week. Students show review the outline with parents and return the signed sheet to the teacher.
We began this week by reviewing the four components of health. We looked at ways that we can maintain our health in all four areas. in addition we discussed the definition of physical fitness and learned about the four components(strength, flexibility, endurance and body composition).
